With almost eight decades of experience in the Tourism and Travel Industry between the six of them we look forward to a magnificent Team effort to exceed all Guest and Client expectations.
Ziska Haak – Relationship Manager
Ziska graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2002 with a Baccalaureus Primae Educationis degree. After which she continued to pursue her BA. Drama Degree. Her major in Psychology has driven her passion to work with people and to build long-lasting relationships. In 2010 she started her career in the Tourism and Travel Industry. She was part of the Team at Zebula Golf Estate and Spa/Protea Zebula Lodge where she worked her way up to become the Marketing and Public Relations Manager. Ziska has extensive knowledge in Public Relations and Social Media Management and she is extremely excited to be part of the Forever family. She looks forward to working with the Team to build on the strong foundations they have laid down. She has a positive outlook on life and believes that no problem is too big to solve. “There was never a night or a problem that could defeat sunrise or hope.” – Bernard Williams.
Miranda Evangelou – Sales Manager
Miranda has been involved in the Travel and Hospitality Industry for 7 years. She started her career as Manager at Flight Centre and this is where she discovered her passion for Tourism. Miranda then pursued her career as Sales Manager for the international group Intercontinental after which she returned to South Africa to continue to work for Hotel Groups all over South Africa. She is a passionate and dedicated person and her extensive Sales experience makes her a great asset to our Team.
Dee Temba – Sales Executive Government
Dee started as a Junior Travel Consultant with Thomas Cook Rennies Travel (now Rennies Travel) and was responsible for leisure reservations for local, regional and international travel. FIT’s and Groups & Incentives made her discover her drive and passion for Sales. She is experienced in Sales with car rental (Hertz,) Airline (South African Airways) and is now taking on the Government portfolio at Forever. Her 32 years experience in Travel Sales will definitely add value to Government departments including parastatals, non-government organisations (NGO’s) and non-profit organisations (NPO’s).
Gerhard Fourie – Sales Executive STO and Trade
Gerhard has been in the Tourism Industry for 9 years. He started his career as a Sales Clerk and Tour Guide at Bombyx Mori Silk for 2 years. He then got the opportunity to be part of the Forever family in 2008 when he started his adventure as a Tourist Assistant at Swadini, A Forever Resort at the foot of the Blyde Canyon Nature Reserve. After 9 months he was promoted to Assistant Conference Coordinator for two years after which he was offered the position of Senior Conference Coordinator which he filled successfully until 2014. We are pleased that Gerhard is now part of the Forever Home Office Team. He has great passion for the Tourism Industry and always strives to exceed the expectations of every Client. He will be dealing with STO and Leisure related enquiries and cannot wait to be of assistance to this market.
Christianna Bolhuis – Sales Executive PCO and Embassies
Christianna started in the hospitality industry in 2002 as a receptionist at Sentinel Executive Apartment Hotel. From there she went on to work for the Court Classique Suite Hotel, Sheraton Pretoria Hotel, as well as Towers and Premier Hotels & Resorts. She worked in various departments within the different properties. Christianna has a diploma in International Hotel Management and the experience she has gained in the past 13 years has been priceless. “Due to the fact that there is always something new to learn and I constantly grow as an individual within the organisations I have worked for, I have always seen it as a privilege to be part of this industry. I have never deviated from this wonderful and ever changing industry because I cannot imagine doing anything else. I am passionate, dedicated and motivated I am looking forward to the next part of my journey with the Forever family!”
Sandy Bunnell – Sales Executive Corporate
Sandy graduated at the University of Pretoria in 2001 and obtained her Degree in B.Com Tourism Management. She started off her career as a Travel Agent in 2003 and in 2005 she was afforded the opportunity with Avis as Key Account Manager in the Corporate Sector of their business and she has been in Sales ever since. She represented Hertz for 3 years as Corporate Sales Executive and she has also been Sales Manager in the Hospitality Industry representing properties such as Crowne Plaza Rosebank, Holiday Inn Sandton, Holiday Inn Express and Pepperclub Hotel and Spa. Sandy has over 10 years’ experience in managing corporate key accounts. “I am hardworking and dedicated and I really enjoy the Tourism Industry as it gives me the opportunity to meet many different people and my passion lies in relationship building. I am really excited to be a part of the Forever Family!”
With their extensive experience and positive outlook the new Sales and Marketing Team promises to reach great new heights for Forever Resorts, Lodges, Hotels and Retreats. They look forward to meeting with all of our Clients and Guests to build on the long-standing relationships that Forever Resorts, Lodges, Hotels and Retreats is proud to have built over 80 years.
