The Pilgrims Rest Golf Club is situated in the scenic and historical town of Pilgrims Rest. Pilgrims is rich in history and is well known for its historical buildings, boasting restaurants, the Royal Hotel, a historical filling station, gift shops and many more. The town has a dwindling population and is relying mostly on tourism. The Golf course however cannot rely on tourism and due to the fact that the town has a very small population, Blyde Canyon, a Forever Resort, has decided to become involved in an effort to generate funds to save this beautiful Golf course.
The Blyde golf day took place on 11 October 2014. This is an annual event, gaining popularity and growing dramatically year-on-year. Golfers come from across Mpumalanga and Limpopo to support the event and it is a privilege for Blyde Canyon, a Forever Resort, to be part of an effort to preserve this Golf course as part of our heritage.
